Billionaire Barry Silbert has identified Bittensor (TAO) as the next significant investment theme in cryptocurrency. In an interview with Raoul Pal on the Real Vision YouTube channel, Silbert discussed launching his new venture, Yuma, which focuses solely on Bittensor—a decentralised blockchain network aimed at facilitating a collaborative marketplace for artificial intelligence (AI).
Silbert noted that he has observed numerous developments within the decentralised AI space, concluding that Bittensor represents a crucial era for cryptocurrency, akin to previously notable phases involving Bitcoin, Ethereum, and NFTs. He aims to replicate the success achieved with Bitcoin, intending to invest in Bittensor, foster awareness, and enhance access through his venture, Yuma.
Bittensor’s architecture consists of “subnets,” which operate as segments tailored for specific AI tasks and services. Yuma has prioritised creating an “accelerator” to simplify the process of building new subnets on the Bittensor network. Additionally, Silbert aspires to identify key infrastructural projects within the Bittensor ecosystem, akin to major firms like Coinbase and Chainalysis.
