Binance has officially included Hyperlane (HYPER) in its HODLer Airdrops programme, which is now in its 15th iteration. Hyperlane functions as a permissionless interoperability protocol designed to enhance cross-chain communication across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
The airdrop will specifically target users who have subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn products, including both Flexible and Locked options, as well as On-Chain Yields. Eligible users must have made these subscriptions from April 14, 2025, to April 17, 2025.
A total of 20 million HYPER tokens will be distributed in this airdrop, constituting about 2.49% of the total Genesis supply of 802,666,667 tokens. The initial circulating supply upon listing will amount to 175,200,000 HYPER, corresponding to 21.83% of the total supply.
Trading for HYPER is set to begin on April 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. UTC, with trading pairs available against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. Users can begin depositing HYPER tokens one hour after the announcement, whilst trading on Binance Alpha will start at 11:10 a.m. UTC the same day. After spot trading commences, HYPER will be removed from Binance Alpha.
The maximum supply of HYPER tokens is capped at 1 billion, with an annual inflation rate of 8 million tokens. Additionally, smart contracts for HYPER have been deployed on both the Binance Smart Chain and the Ethereum network.
For users interested in participating in the airdrop, further details regarding eligibility and token distribution will be released approximately 12 hours post-announcement. A comprehensive research report on Hyperlane is also expected to be published within the next 24 hours.
